Planily is a family organisation app designed for busy UK families. It combines a shared calendar, task and chore manager, weekly meal planner, school hub (for timetables and letters), and daily routines into one easy-to-use app — helping the whole family stay organised and share the mental load fairly.

Question 2

Is Planily free?

Yes, Planily is free forever for core features including the shared family calendar, tasks, meal planning and routines. An optional Planily Plus tier is available for advanced features.

Question 3

Who is Planily designed for?

Accepted Answer

Planily is designed for busy UK families with children — particularly parents who are juggling school schedules, activities, meal planning and household tasks and want to share the load more fairly.

Question 4

What features does Planily include?

Accepted Answer

Planily includes a shared family calendar, task and chore manager, weekly meal planner with automated shopping lists, a school hub for tracking timetables and scanning school letters, daily routines, voice commands, Google Calendar sync, and a WhatsApp concierge.

Question 5

How does Planily help with mental load?

Accepted Answer

Planily gives every family member visibility of the family schedule, tasks and responsibilities. By making the invisible labour visible and distributing tasks fairly, it helps reduce the mental load that falls disproportionately on one parent — typically mothers.
